Based on the Law on Confirmation of the Loan Agreement (IBRD Loan No. 4674-HR) between the Republic of Croatia and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the Real Property Registration and Cadastre Project (Official Gazette No. 2/03), the Project Implementation Unit announces this Invitation for Bids.

This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in UN Development Business, issue No. 681 of 30 June 2006 and in the Croatian newspaper Vecernji list on 14 June 2006.

The Government of the Republic of Croatia has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of the Real Property Registration and Cadastre Project. The project is co-financed by the European Union CARDS Grant. It is planned to apply part of the project funds for payments under the contract for Supply and Installation of the Equipment for the State Geodetic Administration’s Data Center.

The Project Implementation Unit on behalf of the State Geodetic Administration now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply and Installation of the Equipment for the State Geodetic Administration’s Data Center which includes following systems: telecommunication systems, electrical power systems, HVAC systems, fire detection system and fire suppression system, security systems and site preparation works.

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, January 1995 (revised January and August 1996, September 1997, and January 1999), and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Project Implementation Unit and inspect the bidding documents at the first address given below from Monday to Friday between 0900 and 1600 hours, local time.

A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the first address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of HRK 1,000 or EUR 140. The method of payment should be deposit to specified account of the Real Property Registration and Cadastre Project as follows:

For payments in HRK (Croatian Kuna): direct deposit or transfer to the transfer account, No. 1001005-1863000160, code: 63, description No. 9733-3130-6291678, in favor of the State budget of the Republic of Croatia.

For payments in EUR (Euro): direct deposit or transfer to the Bank account No. 702000-978-9182800-132344-2063, SWIFT: PBZG HR 2X, opened in the Privredna banka Zagreb d.d., Rackoga 6, Zagreb, in favor of the Real Property Registration and Cadastre Project.

The document will be sent by Courier Service.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 8 June 2007 at 1100 hours, local time. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of HRK 100,000 or EUR 14,000. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 8 June 2007 at 1100 hours, local time.
